Do You Need Good Keywords?

Blogged in seo by Jack Spencer Wednesday March 3, 2010

If there is one thing that is necessary in order to have a good Internet business, it is that you need to have regular traffic coming into it. Having a website that does not have anybody visit it is like having a store which never has any customers. How long would a store like that stay in business? You should not expect your website to do a better under similar circumstances.

If you want to bring additional traffic into your website, one of the things that you must make sure you are doing is concentrating on the proper keywords. It would do little good for you to write about random information because even though it will get you some traffic, the traffic will tend to be just as random as the keywords. The entire Internet is built around things that are specific so you must be that specific in order to be happy with the results that you get.

You can find these keywords from a number of different sources and at times, these sources can be rather difficult to use. One of the most important parts about finding these keywords, however, is making sure that you use them properly once you have them in your possession. Here are some of the more popular ways that you can find these keywords and use them for your website in order to prosper.

Of all of the different places to find these keywords, the Google external keyword tool is the most popular. The reason why this tool is in existence is because at one time, it was used in order to fuel the paid advertising section of Google. People now use it for regular search engine optimization and increasing the amount of traffic that they are getting to their websites. Since the tool uses the data from Google, it is very reliable.

A similar tool can be found on the MSN search engine but it is going to cost you a little bit of money in order to be able to access it. If you have an advertising account at MSN, something that costs five dollars, you can use their tool which is very similar to Google’s. The real difference is that the numbers are going to be much lower on MSN but that has more to do with the fact that they have less of a search volume than Google.

People have also been using Word tracker for a number of years in order to find keyword phrases. Word tracker gets its data from a number of different meta search engines and although it is somewhat accurate, there are some flaws in the system. You can make a considerable amount of money by using this data but you are better off using one of the other tools that are available.

The most important thing is that you use these keywords properly once you have them in your possession. Not only should they be used on your webpages directly, you should also be using them as anchor text in any incoming links that happened to be coming into your website. In doing so, you will be able to be successful with your website.

If you were to talk with a search engine marketing consultant, they would have certain tips to give you. There are many websites these days which do not have a website which is optimized for the search engines. This is important because if you do not have a website which is optimized and shows up in search engine results, you cannot get traffic to your website without having to buy it and this gets expensive.

Search engine marketing services will spotlight upon certain areas of your website: your incoming links, the kind of content you have, and your keywords. Book Review: Cunningly Clever Marketing

Blogged in internet marketing by Roy Williams Wednesday February 24, 2010

I recently stumbled across the book Cunningly Clever Marketing when searching for books by Jay Conrad Levinson. Right on the front of Cunningly Clever Marketing’s home page there was a review written by Jay Conrad Levinson stating how great the book was, so I asked myself Why not give it a try and ordered my copy from the site.

Shipping

The book made it to my home very quickly, 4 days after I ordered it and it was shipped via FedEx. So far this company is off to a good start. Normally when I order a book directly from its own website it is shipped via USPS and the book comes in destroyed.

Design

I immediately noticed the front cover. It is a marketing book with a fox on the front of it. Cunningly clever book cover or bad graphics designer? Im going to go with clever marketing cover since the book is called Cunningly Clever Marketing.

At 416 pages of glossy paper, the book is incredibly heavy. You could probably use it as a boat anchor for one of those crabbing boats you always see on Deadliest Catch. If you locked your keys in your car and happened to be carrying Cunningly Clever Marketing, dont call pick up the phone and call locksmith. Take that book out and smash through the window. If this book was worth its weight in gold you would have an off shore bank account holding your millions!

All kidding aside, you can not judge a book by it’s cover (or its weight) and I decided to open the book up and get reading.

Contents

You can tell the book is self published by the massive amounts of spelling errors throughout the book, however that is the only down fall to this marketing book. Andrew Wood takes marketing knowledge from yesterday and combines it with the new technology available today and then somehow makes it all make perfect sense. The book contains tons of marketing information compiled into easy to read short chapters. Have a question about direct mail? Read Chapter 63. Do you have to come up with a good unique selling proposition (USP) for your new business? Read chapter 10 which is all about USPs.

Cunningly Clever Marketing kicks the standard for all marketing books up a notch. There is simply not another marketing book that I have read that contains as much information into an easy to read book. From unique selling propositions to email marketing to building websites. This book contains it all.

Final Opinion of Cunningly Clever Marketing by Andrew Wood

Cunningly Clever Marketing by Andrew Wood is an absolute must read for anyone in the marketing industry. As I said above, this book has become my marketing hand book, and Im sure that after you read it, it will become yours as well.

Not precisely the most difficult subject to satirize, although the script is weakanyway. A somewhat vigorous direction and compact running time help a tad. (91 minutes, 1994)

Almost any film you can think of can be downloaded from a site online. Remember to use search terms like “Full Movie Download” and “Online DVD Rental Service” when looking for movie sites. A final search with “Top 100 Movie Rentals” might get you what you need if the other ones fail.

Use a good movie download site to build a great movie library. Movie Rental Industry Movie downloads might be the common way to buy movies someday soon. PS3 supports most movie download files while Xbox 360 doesn”t support many.
