Determining the Cost of a Click in Pay Per Click Marketing

Blogged in seo by Sean Galusha Saturday July 24, 2010

Online advertising has been a major component of the internet. Online advertisements may be in the form of banners or text links. For an owner of a website, hosting these ads are means to compensating his efforts in making his website and giving information in his site.

These advertisements are just some of the ways that a website owner can make money online and one scheme that websites can actually engage in is the pay per click scheme. In this scheme, advertising cost involved is dependent on the clicks made to the banners and links.

In pay per click, the number of clicks that the ads in your site can generate will be the determinant of your earnings. In this scheme, business owners will only pay you for every click of an ad, which eventually means, every interested online customer that will be sent to the business website.

The cost involved in pay per click marketing depends on the number of clicks to the ads and it can be determined in two ways. It can be through bidding with other competitors or it can be a flat-rate cost.

In the flat rate method, the business owner and the website owner agrees on a rate or the cost of each click. Most often, the advertiser will have a list of rates for every webpage that his ad will appear. These rates are usually dependent on the relevance of a particular webpage to the advertiser’s ad and the ability of its content to attract site visitors that would become potential customers to the business.

In the bid-based method, the cost of a click is determined by how much a business owner is willing to pay for one click to his ad. If the business owner wins the bidding, the maximum amount he bids for a click will be the cost of a click to his ad. The bid-based pay per click is usually used in advertising in search engines like Google. The winning bidder will then have an ad spot in the search engine results page.

Although there is no standard rate of how much a click should cost, the cost however is proportional to the number of site visitors a website has. The more site visitors a website has, the higher the rate you can charge for every click of ad posted in your site.

Internet Business Tips To Help You Succeed Online

Blogged in internet marketing by Mark Walters Saturday July 24, 2010

Is starting an Internet business an idea that appeals to you?

If you want to earn a lot of money online, you need to use leverage. You do not want to sell your product alone. So, how do you go about doing this?

1. Recruit masses of affiliates to sell your product 24/7

The first question you need to ask yourself if you really want to make it big is - how do I get affiliates to promote my products? There are a couple of ways to do this.

The first method is to create a product that is so powerful that every top affiliate sees the opportunity and wants to promote your product to their list. For this, you will need to carry out pretty extensive market research.

The second approach, which is the most common, is to send the top affiliates in your niche a free review copy of your product. Then, ask them to promote it if they like it. Make sure that you follow up because super affiliates receive dozens of joint venture offers per day.

2. Create a powerful sales funnel

The term ’sales funnel’ refers to the period of time between you getting someone’s name and email address and them buying your highest priced product.

An example of a sales funnel is as follows…

A visitor to your landing page signs up for a free report or product, and are then redirected to a page that offers a discounted product for $37. After that, he receives an email series promoting a $97 product. Next, he is added into another autoresponder series that promote a $297 product, and this can go on until he buys a really highly priced product, say at $5000.

You should have a few sales funnels in place for each of your products - some with a harder sell and some with a more gentle approach. Then, regardless of the type of buyer that your visitor is, you should eventually makes sales one way or another.

Affiliates will send more traffic your way when they realize how powerful your marketing funnel is and how much money they make with your products compared to the competition.

As a final point about the affiliate recruitment and sales funnel process in general - keep it simple. The more complex you make it, the less chance there is of you actually following through with it all of the way. Also, if it is too complex, you confuse both affiliates and prospects - which is something that you want to avoid at all costs.

This is a a proven formula that I use to market my products. Whatever niche or niches that you happen to be in, this approach works equally as well.

Some Accurate Hollywood Movie Story Lines

Blogged in internet marketing by Debbie Rowland Saturday July 24, 2010

Look below if you came to see motion picture reviews. You can get to a good film download site through the search engines. There are a lot of different phrases you can use, try “Music Videos To Download”, “Online DVD Rentals”, or “Movie Trailer Downloads”.

Lilo and Stitch: Forlorn Hawaiian gal being brought up by her older sibling finds a doubtful buddy at the dog pound an alien whom she names Sew. In the mean time, ambassadors from Sew’s world have arrived in this world to recover the damaging little creature. Gorgeous watercolor surroundings are simply spectacular. (85 minutes, 2002)

Alice in the Cities: After drifting haphazardly across America, disassociated reporter Vogler meets a lady and finds himself saddled with her nine year old baby girl while she mysteriously vanishes. Brilliant, often spellbinding film reflects on the consequence of American pop lifestyle on postwar Europeans. Cast includes Rudiger Vogler, Yella Rottlander, Lisa Kreuzer, and Chuck Berry. (110 minutes, 1974)

Rocky 4: Entirely synthetic (and unessential) continuation has Rocky doin’ what a guy’s gotta do, avenging a buddy’s downfall and fighting for the U.S.A. against a superhuman Russian champ. Still, Stallone knows how to press all the right buttons, particularly in an awesome teaching montage. Cast includes Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren, Carl Weathers, Talia Shire, Burt Youthful, Brigitte Nielsen, Michael Pataki, and James Brown. (91 minutes, 1985)

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade: A typical venture spectacle has Ford in fine form and Connery amalgamating panache as Indy’s archaeologist dad, whose bizarre disappearance (when looking for the Holy Grail) sets the tale in motion. This intentionally old fashioned Saturday matinee has everything money might purchase, however on no account seriously creates a sense of marvel and enthusiasm. A certain advancement over the second Indiana Jones episode it still bears the mark of one too numerous trips to the well. Cast includes Harrison Ford, Sean Connery, Denholm Elliott, Alison Doody, John Rhys-Davies, Julian Glover, River Phoenix, Michael Byrne, and Alex Hyde-White. (127 minutes, 1989)

The Advancements In Time Piece Technology

Blogged in internet marketing by Ronald C. Lundy Saturday July 24, 2010

Despite the advancement in fashion and technology there are still a small number of unisex watches available. It is only in recent years that there has been more designs available which can be worn by any gender. Watches can be worn to casual events or even to formal social gatherings. Jewelry of all types is very popular in the world today.

Still, old habits die hard, and because we think of watches as fashion accessories and we still think of fashion along gender lines, there is an abundance of men’s and ladies watches for every example of a unisex timepiece. But why shouldn’t watches simply be the functional pieces of equipment that they are? Has anyone ever thought of men’s and women’s pocket calculators? Okay, so no one wears pocket calculators anymore, but this raises another interesting point: will watches one day go the way of pocket calculators? After all, time is all around us now, from our cell phones to our portable music players (which are often one and the same device, anyway), who actually needs a watch anymore? It may be that watches, whether for men or women, will one day be relegated to outdoors equipment for adventurers ” and even then only those who want to do things the old-fashioned way!

Many of the newest and most advanced watches offer remarkable features. One can find a watch with radio tuners which allow them to pick up radio stations. With the popularity of MP3 players many people might find it refreshing to listen to the radio for a change. Another feature available are built in monitors where one can view television programs. These advanced watches are unisex the same way most MP3 players are unisex and there isn’t one gender specific model. As gadgets get more advanced they become gender nonspecific.

In the vein, a very fashionable brand name where ladies watches are concerned is Dolce & Gabbana. Their designs can be nicely flamboyant, fun and casual, but never so quirky as to look totally out of place with all but the very strictest of formal evening dresses. The DKNY label is also interesting, typically with a slightly more muted look, but definitely made for ladies that like to have fun. When considering men’s watches, however, its an unfortunate truism that any label will do.

Anyone looking for men’s watches has many companies and styles to choose from. Not all men’s watches are generic; one can find very nice time pieces from many companies. They offer a wide variety of styles and design options. One company that offers a great line of watches is Tokyo-Flash. One can find other great watch companies online or in retail stores.

This article was written by Ronald C. Lundy. He writes about the advancements made in watch technology. For Replica Watches visit Replicall.com they have the best prices and selection on Replica Watches on the web.

The Blob: Endearingly campy classic of inexpensive ’50s sci-fi has “Steven” in his first featuring role leading adolescents into battle to spare their tiny town from being swallowed up by mammoth glop of cherry Jell-O from outer space. Not seriously all that excellent, although how might you dislike a film like this? Cast includes Steven McQueen, Aneta Corsaut, Earl Rowe, and Olin Howlin. (86 minutes, 1958)

Above The Law: When martial arts expert Nico Toscani worked for the CIA he did missions in Vietnam. While there he saw one of his superiors, Zagon, use the war to help him set up a drug smuggling ring. Now, years later, working as a Chicago detective, he starts to close in on Zagon. Zagon is well connected, and this causes Nico his job. Now all bets are off, as Nico will stop at nothing to track the drug smugglers down.

Manny and Lo: An orphaned 11 year old Manny Jahanssan and her more ignorant sixteen-year-old sis La palladina rest in model homes and drive an old station wagon. Prudent, hot comedy-tirade is crisp and spontaneous; a notable debut for author-director Krueger. Cast includes Scarlett Johansson, Aieksa Palladina, Mary Kay Place, Paul Guilfayle, Glenn Fitzgerald, and Novella Nelson. (97 minutes, 1996)
