If you are like many network marketers, you have been in search of simple ways to generate MLM network marketing leads. Too many believe there is a magic formula however, that is simply not true.

The easy button from the smart commercial would be nice; however, it just does not exist, despite what others may believe. All the methods for “easy” generation make for an MLM business with a faulty foundation. Unfortunately, too many people are running out and joining all manner of programs promising them an easy fix.

There may be areas of an MLM business that can be put on automatic, but never the whole thing! It is nearly impossible to find any kind of business that can be run strictly on autopilot. If you want to earn a good living from your business there are some things you will have to attend to.

Okay, now that you are aware that there are MLM areas you can automate and areas you cannot, lets first discuss those that will need your undivided attention.

Too often network marketers will purchase leads through a third party, this just eats up needed cash. For the most part these leads are dead ends and very expensive to boot.

When you purchase leads like this you are left to the mercy of the seller, as you have no idea what methods they used to generate the leads in the first place nor how often they have been used. You want leads that have not been used an abused by a million other marketers and that are targeted specifically for your business. You can be sure that when you are the umpteenth caller with a business opportunity you are going to get an ear full.

2. Relationship- When you are talking about MLM network marketing leads you are actually talking about relationships. When is it ever possible to put a relationship on autopilot? When pigs fly and the moon is made of cheese this could happen, however that time has not come yet!

Trust is the cornerstone of any relationship, not to mention attention and guidance. Your people are looking to you for these things, and there is no way to automate that. Mail, email, phone calls and face-to-face meetings are all ways you may interact with your down line and honestly, this contact is the cement that forms the foundation of your MLM business and keeps it from falling apart.
